Sigma Engineering – Company Milestones
1988 – Company Foundation
Sigma Engineering was established in Egypt as an engineering company specializing in power quality solutions, providing advanced engineering services to industrial and commercial customers.
2003 – Beginning of Manufacturing
Sigma Engineering established its manufacturing facility in Obour City, approximately 20 km from Cairo. Reflecting the company's innovation-driven philosophy, the Research & Development (R&D) Department was established even before the manufacturing facility was fully completed.
2005 – First Product Launch
The company's first locally developed product, the Sigma Digital Panel Meter, was successfully introduced to the market, marking the beginning of Sigma's manufacturing journey.
2007 – Expansion into Voltage Stabilizers
Production of the Turbo Series Servo Voltage Stabilizers commenced, initially covering ratings up to 30 kVA.
2013 – DC Power Systems
Sigma expanded its product portfolio by launching the Sigmatronic IR Series Industrial Rectifiers and Battery Chargers, designed for critical industrial applications requiring high reliability and performance.
