Sigma Engineering was established in 1988, representing ABB in Egypt, and providing supply, engineering, and maintenance of ABB UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) products. Gradually, the company enhanced its portfolio and added various other power quality products, and represented more European companies (e.g. Gustav Klein, Aerocom and Eaton). So, it became recognised in the Egyptian market as a leading power quality solutions company.

Sigma Engineering has its own design and manufacturing division, producing stabilizers, battery chargers, and digital panel meters.

In addition to supplying a wide range of power solutions, Sigma Engineering also provides excellent after-sales service, from basic UPS and battery maintenance to comprehensive service contracts covering every aspect of power quality.
